The girl, who had landed in the City on Sunday, is now in quarantine at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases (RGICD).
Eleven patients voluntarily visited the RGICD for flu screening; the throat swab samples of seven patients suspected to have contracted the virus were taken and sent to the National Institute of Virology, Pune. They were all admitted at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, three patients admitted at Lakeside Hospital are recuperating from flu, hospital sources said.
