KMF announces special discount on cattle feed

The Karnataka Milk Federation in its Board meeting held earlier this week decided to grant a discount of Rs 500 per tonne of Nandini Cattle Feed and Rs 20 per kg of Nandini Mineral Mixture from March one till the end of the month, a release said here today.

The discount was in view of the fact that during summer, milk producers were forced to battle with the issue of decrease in availability of fodder, thereby resulting in high cost of milk production.
