Guest lecturers continue stir; stage protest

The procession passed through main roads of the city. They wanted the government to regularise their jobs, fix their monthly salary at ` 25,000 as per UGC guidelines, no disparity in salary and to direct principals of the Government First Grade Colleges to continue the services of guest lecturers without giving them jobs for few months.

They charged that the elected representatives and government have turned deaf ears to their pleas. They warned of intensifying their agitation if their demands were not met.
