<p>The suspect Vengaiah (40) from Subbaianapalya is from Andhra Pradesh and had settled down in Bangalore.<br /><br />Police said Vengaiah and his associate Deena (40) from Tannery Road had bought the rice and wheat from fair price shops of the Food and Civil Supplies department.<br /><br />They took out rice and wheat in gunny bags and packed them in white coloured bags. They put exactly 50 kg rice and wheat in bags and stitched them later. <br /><br />They sold them to a person, whose identity is yet to be established, in K R Puram. <br /><br />The Food and Civil Supplies Department supplied the rice at Rs 9 per kg and wheat at Rs 11. The suspects sold them for Rs 25 to 40 depending upon quality of the rice. <br /><br />The police are looking for Deena and the one who sold the bags in K R Puram.</p>
