He was speaking after participating in the ground-breaking ceremony for the work on the road from Karahalli Circle till Pump House, under the SFI project.
“With a view to prevent any inconvenience for the citizens this summer, about 20 borewells will be dug within town limits. Pumps and motors are being purchased for the work. Connecting roads too are being constructed wherever necessary,” he explained.
“Bangarpet TMC leads the other municipal bodies in the district in works related to hygiene and developmental activities. All members have come forward to work better to develop the town providing facilities to the people. Funds up to Rs one crore have been set aside to fulfill this,” he said.
