The Central Bureau of Investigation had registered a case on Thursday against the chairman, advisor, deputy director, and regional officer of the All India Council for Technical Education.
During the raids, the Central Bureau of Investigation recovered many fixed deposit receipts (FDRs), cash, and various incriminating documents.
During searches at the residence of the chairman, FDRs worth Rs 1.4 crore, and other investments worth Rs 63 lakh were recovered.
During the raid on the advisor’s house, Rs 4.25 lakh in cash and documents relating to property in Greater Noida and in Rohini in Delhi were recovered.
During searches at the residence of the Regional Officer, Bhopal, documents relating to FDRs and other investments worth Rs 32.45 lakh and documents relating to property worth Rs 26.5 lakh have been recovered by the investigating agency.
