<p>The hill, located at the Kaddirampura on the Hampi-Kamlapur road comprises two massive rocks leaning against each other.<br /><br />Legend has it that two sisters who came to see Hampi at the height of its glory, sat down for rest on the hill and were turned into stone.<br /><br />Shelter from sun<br /><br />The rocks created a shelter from the hot sun of the region and was a tourist attraction because of the legend behind it.<br /><br />Traffic hit<br /><br />The collapse of the Akka rock that had developed a fissure some time ago, affected road traffic on the road to Hampi. <br /><br />Authorities have blocked traffic on the road and have made alternative arrangements for the vehicles, fearing that the other hill too may collapse any time.</p>
