The certification was given for providing high quality services in terms of safety, security and maintaining cleanliness in the temple premises, Temple Executive Officer R Padmanabhan said.
He said that the temple management had taken steps to ensure that its quality management system was in compliance with the ISO norms.
The Sri Parthasarathy Temple and Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple (both in Chennai) are the other temples which received the certification in Tamil Nadu.
