Experiment with innovative agriculture methods: V-C

Speaking at the valedictory of ‘Workshop on Agricultural Activities’, organised by V C Farm, Chamundeshwari Sugar Factory and other organisations at Karadakere near here, he said most of the farmers are still following the old style of farming activities, as a result of which they are still lagging economically. The agricultural scientists should give impetus on innovative methods and create awareness on scientific farming, he added.

With the improvement of technologies and introduction of new farming equipment, they should make use of the available methods and make profits with less expenditure.
Member of Legislative Assembly Kalpana Siddaraju, who inaugurated an expo, said failing to adopt new methods the farmers have failed to get good yields.

This has pushed many ryots to commit suicide unable to repay debt. Member of Legislative Council B Ramakrishna, ZP member B Basavaraju, Chamsugars Senior Manager V J Reddy and others were present.

Food items

Food items prepared by ryots women were kept on exhibition cum sale.  The products that were displayed by the agricultural students and Chamsugars factory were appreciated by the viewers.
