Three injured in lorry collision

Due to diesel leak two lorries caught fire and were burnt beyond recognition injuring driver Marimuttu (28) of Melur in Krishnagiri taluk, Nagaraj (30) of Mookandapalli and Mohammed (38) of Bagepalli.

A new lorry which was trying to negotiate a turn on National Highway 7 near Attibele hit a lorry laden with sand, which was heading towards Attibele from Hosur. In the collision both the lorries turned turtle. In the meantime, a lorry carrying iron which was heading from Attibele rammed into the two lorries. The collision caused the diesel tank to explode charring the two lorries.

A case has been registered with Hosur police station.
