Eshwarappa admits to trouble in party

Last Updated 19 March 2011, 18:03 IST

Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, he said some legislators had approached him over delay in development work in their constituencies. Similarly some others had approached Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa over the same issue. Eshwarappa said this should not have happened. However, this doesn't mean there are two groups in the party, he added.

“There is unity in the party and we will carry forward the development work for the remaining two-and-a-half years,” he added. The BJP leader dismissed the rumours of signature campaign against Yeddyurappa and said none of the central BJP or RSS leaders were involved with this problem. “We will solve this on our own,” he added.
