SC/STs get 199 houses

The beneficiaries belong to the Scheduled Castes and Tribes. The houses were built under the 22.75 per cent scheme.

Speaking on the occasion, Ashoka said the houses built for the downtrodden communities are very attractive and cost Rs three lakh each.

Ashoka said in the coming days, an extensive tree plantation drive would be carried out in various parks of the City and good playgrounds would be developed for children.

He expressed his satisfaction over the various developmental work including the construction of a centre for senior citizens.
