“Once we get the copy of the writ from the Supreme Court of India, the accused would surrender,” Taraq Sayyed, advocate of Duncan Grant and Alla Waters, said.
The copy of the writ is directly sent to the Sessions Court.
“It is likely that the copy of the writ would arrive (in Mumbai) tomorrow,” Sayyed said.
Asked whether they would file a review petition, Sayyed said they have not gone through the order yet and will decide the future course of action after reading the order.
The Supreme Court had on Friday restored the conviction of paedophiles Waters and Grant on charges of sexual abuse of minor boys living in shelters run by them in Mumbai and directed that they be taken into custody to undergo their remaining jail terms.
