Accused Sharavana and two other friends lived in a rented house, in Jagadeeshnagar in HAL police station limits, along with Nataraj.
The accused picked up a quarrel over taxes on Saturday night. The matter was resolved temporarily and all the four went to sleep. However, the accused was drunk and around 2.30 am in a fit of anger smashed Sharavana’s head with grinding stone. Nataraj bled to death in the wee hours of Sunday. Sharavana has been arrested.
