Both the teams are here for the eagerly-awaited semifinal match of the World Cup on Wednesday and while they sweat it out in the nets, they are also enjoying the delicacies of the city.

Shahid Afridi led Pakistan team reached here Friday while the Indian team arrived here yesterday. Both teams seem to be having common choice for cuisines served by Hotel Taj here, where the two teams are staying.

"Peshawari Chicken Tikka is a great hit with many players of both the teams. They are relishing it," Hotel Taj's Executive Chef Neeraj Chaudhry told PTI here.

He said mutton and chicken biryani was also in high demand while some players seem to have fallen in love with the Tandoori chicken.

"They come in groups to eat in the hotel's restaurant. For the breakfast, sausages, eggs, chicken, brown toasts, lot of fresh fruits and juices are in demand," Chaudhry said.
The hotel is also planning a buffet dinner for the two teams where they can have the opportunity to meet up before clashing in the mega match.

Some Pakistani players are also loving yellow dal, mutton biryani and tandoori rotis.
The Indian skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni seems to have a weakness for the kebabs while Sachin Tendulkar is gorging on grilled items, which are less spicy.
