Make use of facilities, minorities told

Speaking after handing over a cheque of Rs 1.5 lakh to the president of Jamia mosque at Yallambase in Kadur taluk, he said Wakf Board has been providing financial assistance to the construction of prayer halls in the rural areas.

Good prayer halls are necessary for all community members, he said.  

He said the state government provides a sum of Rs 10 lakh for the construction of
Shadi mahal in towns and Rs 5 lakh in villages.

If the authorities submit an application after identifying the land, then the funds will be released.

The MLA promised to release funds for the construction of a compound wall across Idgha maidan.
