Important cases solved included recovery of vehicles worth Rs 30 lakh in 37 cases from a native of Hyderabad, presently residing in Kudlu village in Bangalore, City Police Commissioner Shankar Bidari told reporters here today.
He used to steal the vehicles using duplicate keys from all over Bangalore and then sell it to others, Bidari said.
Another major achievement for police was nabbing a six member gang and recovering valuables worth over Rs 12 lakh including gold ornaments worth Rs 11.30 lakh from them,he said.
In all, valuables worth Rs 1,50,36,237 was seized in all the 154 cases, Bidari said.
