According to the new rules, the transfers should not exceed five per cent of the total strength. The process commences by April end. A provision has been made to transfer non-teaching staff at the government level.
The gazette notification was issued on Thursday. Objections, if any, can be filed before the Secretary, Education Department, M S Building, Bangalore, within 15 days, according to a press release.
