Bill Gates visiting India; will address Nasscom

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates will arrive in India this week.

Gates is also scheduled to speak at a conference organised on Friday by the National Association of Software & Services Companies (Nasscom), the apex body of software companies in India.

He will hold a video-conference with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar the same day.
During his visit he will be overseeing the various programmes initiated by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s initiative , — “Avahan.”

Other details of his itinerary are still being finalised, officials of the Gates Foundation said.
