Under this agreement, Etisalat DB and its subsidiary would provide infrastructure solutions including tower and transmissions. The Etisalat Group would outsource their telecom-infra needs for the 15 telecon circles encompassing end-to-end tower and transmission infrastructure to Reliance Infratel and Reliance Communications respectively.
“The agreement presents large cost optimisation benefit with an asset light model improvement in capital productivity and enhances RCom group revenue by Rs 10,000 crore.
The agreement is the first and the largest telecom infrastructure sharing in India,” a RCom release said.
