Cobra caught at Magadi

The cobra used to slither around the mutt and raise its hood when it came across people but did not harm anyone.

Chandrashekhara Swami of the mutt said the cobra would be released into the Savanadurga forests.

He said he had no problem with the cobra making the mutt its home, but the reptile had to be relocated in the forest as its presence had created fear among the devotees visiting the mutt.
