Recreating the magic of the IPL season three were Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbi Indians. Roads were chock-o-block and the traffic police did all they could to maintain some sort of road discipline.

This is what happens when peak hour traffic meets the IPL frenzy. The public however, did not seem to care about the traffic chaos. There seemed to be an unwritten understanding among the commuters as they soaked in the atmosphere watching the lucky ones get into the stadium.

Even though the team loyalty has gone for a toss, there were a lot of fans sporting the red colours showing their solidarity for the RCB team. However, the Mumbai Indian supporters were not scarce in number. With painted faces, rainbow coloured wigs, team jerseys, blow horns and flags the audience was all geared up to make this a memorable match. One jersey seller claimed to have sold over 20 jerseys in the first thirty minutes. Reluctant parents gave into the demands of their children who wanted to get their faces painted.

Saraswathi Vidya Mandir treated their eighth and ninth graders to the match. The students were dressed in their sports attire. The Akon concert happening on Saturday had its very own promotional truck doing rounds to attract audience attention. Foreign tourists were also present in sizeable number getting involved in all the action. The IPL with its mixed bag format of players has something to offer to everyone.
