The python, which had gobbled up a goat was found near D Palya at Hulikunte forest area in Gauribidnur. The scared villagers had then tied the python with a rope and handed it over to the officials of the Forest Department. It was later brought to the Chikkaballapur Forest office. The python which suffered injuries on its body after the villagers tied it with a rope was treated by Prithviraj and Dr Jnanesh of Wildlife conservation organisation.
