''If they provide valid documents to prove conversion, then we all will support their activities to fight against forcible conversion legally.''

Speaking to presspersons here, he said the Bajrang Dal activists are engaged in filing false complaints against the ashrams run by Christian organisations. Whether the police department has given sub-contract to Bajrang Dal activists to involve them, while raiding any such organisations?” he questioned.

“If the Bajrang Dal continues to file false cases against the ashrams run by Christian organisations, then we will get the kids from those ashrams and keep them in front of the houses of Bajrang Dal and VHP leaders.

Let them take care of the children by providing food, clothing, shelter and education. The JD(S) will also form a youth wing to protect those ashrams when right wing organisations raid it with the help of the police,” he added.

He said the BJP should make its stand clear on the recent incidents of filing false complaints against the ashrams and traumatising the children of Stella Mari’s convent.

To a query on those organisations which have failed to register under the JJ Act, he said “Let the BJP, Bajrang Dal release a list of those institutions which have failed to register under the Act, we all will support them in a fight against such institutions legally,” he added.

JD(S) State Vice-President J S Noronha and others were present.
