Alok on song in selection camp

Alok, also the 9-ball pool National champion, opened his account with a 7-5 win over Balaji before defeating Lalrinsanga by the same margin later in the day.

The men’s 8-ball selection camp will go on until April 20 while 9-ball will be staged from April 21-23.

The women’s 9-ball camp, which also kicked off on Monday, is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday.

Apart from the World Championships, the camp will also determine the cueists for various international events until this December.
