Mediator to help end CSA-GCB feud

Last Updated 24 July 2009, 17:09 IST

“CSA has informed the GCB that it is keen to resolve this matter amicably, and that we agree with GCB that it should be referred to mediation,” CSA CEO Gerald Majola said.

“CSA has asked the Minister of Sport and Recreation to appoint a mediator as a matter of urgency in this regard,” he added.

CSA had withdrawn all international cricket matches from Wanderers Cricket Board after GCB officials accused Majola and IPL chief Lalit Modi of mismanaging the second edition of IPL earlier this year.
