The theft came to light on Tuesday when the priests came to the temple.
Crash kills woman, mother injured
A young woman was killed and her mother injured, after they were they were knocked down by a two-wheeler rider in Kamakshipalya traffic police limits on Tuesday night. Vimala (26) and Indiramma (46) were crossing the Nagarbhavi Ring Road when a speeding two-wheeler rider ploughed into them and fled immediately. Both the women sustained serious injuries and were taken to different hospitals. Vimala died while her mother is recovering.
