JOIN USBitten by the online bug
Apparently on the sets of Aarakshan, film-maker Prakash Jha was inspired by Amitabh’s dedicated tweeting and blogging and decided to join the social networking community. Currently shooting for Jha’s Aarakshan, which is slated for release this August, Amitabh diligently writes his daily blog every day and also updates his fans on Twitter. Hence, Jha, curious to see what the fuss was all about, also joined the micro blogging site recently and started tweeting.
In one of his early tweets, Jha shared an exclusive still from Aarakshan — a picture of Amitabh walking in the rain. Along with the picture, he retweeted Amitabh’s tweet which said, “Somebody from the crowd, after seeing me getting wet in rain shot after shot, yelled to director — ‘Look after our son-in-law, please’ (sic).” Amitabh is fondly referred to as ‘Bhopal’s son-in-law’ as his wife Jaya comes from there.
Whether he looked after ‘Bhopal’s son-in-law’ is a matter of speculation, but for now, let us all welcome Jha onto the Twittersphere.
