Officers' goof-up proves costly

Resident of Karmika Nagar here, Deepika could not get the money. When she went back to the officer, she was asked to give it back. Now, to get the cheque back she will have to wait for another four months, she was told.

“Though the government has sanctioned the money meant for poor, negligent attitude of the officers have robbed us of getting the benefits,” Lokesh, father of Deepika told Deccan Herald.
