This was how actor Prajwal Devaraj who has essayed the lead role in the movie described the reason behind movie’s success, here on Saturday. The film crew was at Gayatri theatre here as part of the promotional tour.

“It’s not cinematic as it is close to real life, giving entirely a different on screen experience rather than the monotonous Gandhinagar type of movie”, said Prajwal, who was buttressed by his director Mahesh Rao.

Optimistic

Moreover the entire team including producer Yogesh Hunsur were optimistic of reaping gold.

“We were 100 per cent confident right from the day one of the shoot”, Prajwal added. Moreover, for Prajwal all his releases are widely accepted in Mysore region that includes Mandya and surrounding districts, as said by the actor. No doubt, it has continued with the new release too.

Mahesh was all smiles to hit jackpot after the disastrous experience of his maiden movie-Dhimaku. “I had narrated the story to the producer first, before contacting many others, but none was ready to take the project. Eventually, sir (referring to producer) made his mind”, recalled Mahesh Rao.

For Yogesh, it’s his first assignment as independent producer, after taking up a couple of projects in partnership.  He also knows the ropes of the trade, for having directed a couple of movies earlier like- ‘Police Power’ which was also his debut, ‘Lakshmi Mahalakshmi’ and ‘Ninagoskara’. Incidentally, Prajwal’s father and actor Devaraj was the hero in Yogesh’s first as a director.

He also belongs to the family of technicians with his elder brother being Bhargava, a renowned film director and uncle National Award winning filmmaker of yesteryears Hunsur Krishnamurthy.

Harshika Poonacha, the leading lady of ‘MMM’ who was the last to join the crew in the promotion, was all elated to say- finally she has delivered a hit as a heroine.
