She directed the authorities to launch relief operations in the drought-hit districts. The realisation of the outstanding dues in these districts had been stayed till March 31, 2010.
The government has directed the authorities to set up relief camps in the drought-affected districts, arranging food and foodgrains through community kitchen and free of cost medical facility for poor people.
State Chief Secretary Atul Gupta said directives had also been given to arrange clean drinking water through water tanks and by making hand-pumps functional in the drought-hit rural and urban areas.
