As many as 28 trainees at RUDSETI, all of them from rural areas, are working overtime to ensure that their work passes the quality test and satisfies their American client. The Institute has entered into an understanding with the Bangalore-based Adwid Global Agency, which secures orders and entrusts the designing responsibility to RUDSETI.
The advertisers of the US spell out their concept and do not provide any material - photograph, text etc - for their advertisement. The client and the designers, communicate through internet, in finalising the design. The clients decide on the quality of the work and may either accept or reject it.

“Sale of properties has gone up in the US in the wake of recession, and consequently, there is a spur in the demand for advertisements has also. There has been a steady increase in the number of orders we are getting,” chief executive officer of RUDSETI, N Shekhar told Deccan Herald.

The minimum qualification for a training in advertisement designing, offered by RUDSETI is a pass in SSLC. Familiarity with drawing would be an added advantage. Interest in the avocation is a necessary ingredient. American English and communication skills will also be taught during the three-month long training. The customer and the client will have to interact on a regular basis until execution of the order and thus, English becomes inevitable in the entire process. The present trainees are now conversant with international spoken English. After the completion of the course, the trainees can work at the institute for three months for which they will be paid honourarium.
