Guidelines for I PU admissions

With SSLC results expected to be announced around May 15, the department has issued guidelines to manage the admission process in a fair and transparent manner.

According to the guidelines, PU colleges have been instructed to sell application forms from May 2 onwards. The sale of application forms will cease five working days after the SSLC results are announced. The application forms will be sold at Rs 15 per form.

The last date for receiving filled forms will be three days after the forms have been issued. Five days later, a merit list for both general and reserved categories will be published on the college notice boards.

First list

The first list of admitted students will be displayed eight days after the merit list has been displayed, and candidates on the merit list will be given three days to pay the fee.

If seats are still vacant, a second admission list will be displayed five days later, with students given three days to pay the fee.

A third and final list will be issued five days later, and students will be given three days to pay the fee.

Classes for first PU are scheduled to begin from June 6.
