Police said that Rajesh ventured out to see a open sump of a house, being newly constructed behind Pushpanjali theatre in the town. However, his mobile slipped and fell into the sump. He entered the sump to lift his mobile but drowned in the water, police suspected. Sub-Inspector Suryaprakash has registered a case.
