PU colleges

With the SSLC exams results out last week, parents and students are busy filling application forms and making rounds of the colleges in the City.

Metrolife has compiled a list of important information which would come handy to students as they rush from one college to another to meet the deadline.  Other then taking the filled application forms, following things should also be taken along: Submit the application form with an attested photocopy of the marks card.

Keep four passport size photographs of the candidate and the parents handy for each college.Students who have appeared for CBSE and ICSE exams have to submit their forms on the day their results are announced.

Candidates who are applying under different categories should also submit a caste certificate of current year and also the income certificate of their parents. Roman Catholic and Christian candidates have to submit the application form with a letter from the parish or priest of the church or baptism certificate. After submitting the forms, students have wait for the colleges to declare their first cut off list.

Most of the colleges are following the PU board guidelines for the cutoff dates except Jyoti Nivas College. Mount Carmel College will be conducting interviews with the candidates after the merit lists are announced.  

Cutoff lists

The first cutoff list will be out for all colleges on May 28 and the last day for payment of fee is June 1. For Jyoti Nivas College the dates are May 26 and May 30 respectively.  For all colleges, the second cutoff list will be out on June 3 and the last day for payment of fee is June 7. For Jyoti Nivas College, the dates are June 1 and June 4 respectively.

For all colleges, the third cutoff list will be out on June 9 and last day for payment of fee is June 8. For Jyoti Nivas College, the dates are June 7 and June 10 respectively.
