Due to some reasons, she had failed to pay the interest over the last few months. Vijay Kumar went to her house and demanded her to pay the interest which led to fights between them.

As per the plan, she invited Vijay Kumar to her house on the evening of May 6. She offered him juice mixed with some sedatives. When he fell unconscious, the trio hanged him with a rope.
