A twist in the tale

A magnificent and neatly arranged set was put up for the first shot.

Sandalwood superstar Upendra switched on the camera and the famous Telugu comedy actor Ali sounded the clapboard.

All the lead actors namely Diganth, Pragna and Ramya Bharna were dressed in typical Mughal era costume.

Pragna, who is playing the title role, came dancing on the stage to the song Ye Zindagi Usiki Hai... Diganth, who was dressed as Saleem, joined her by shaking a leg to the song.

Later, Sadhu Kokila came on the stage and said, “I would not allow my Saleem and Anarkali to meet the same fate.” When Saleem and Anarkali got up, Sadhu Kokila handed over a red rose to Anarkali, indicating that there will be a twist in the story.

There was one more surprise in the form of a beautiful girl. Clad in a white gown, Ramya Barna suddenly entered the stage and hugged Saleem. All these scenes were captured on camera.

Actress Pragna’s role will be parallel to that of hero Diganth in the film. To bring authenticity to Anarkali’s role, Pragna has prepared well. Sadhu Kokila, who is directing the movie, is also scoring the music as well as acting in the film. The film is being produced by Rakesh Kumar Jain and Krishnakumar is handling cinematography. The others in the cast are Sudha Belavadi, Ramesh Bhat etc.
