Now, book LPG refills through IVRS

The facility, that would benefit about 13 lakh consumers in the City and its suburbs is available at all the 58 Indane distributors in Bangalore.

Customers can book their refills and register complaints at any time, 24x7 on a common number - 8970024365 - for all Indane distributors.

Registering phone no.

First-time users have to register their phone number.  For using the IVRS system, Indane customers have to dial 8970024365 from their landline/mobile phone and follow the simple steps as guided by the voice response system.

Subsequent refill bookings and complaint registrations can be made from the registered phone number.

Customers can also make refill bookings by sending an SMS texting "REFILL" to the same IVRS number. The system will send a reply message giving booking number, refill readiness and confirm refill delivery to customers.

Indian Oil has also launched a multi-functional regulator (MFR), a unique device with additional features for increased safety and enhanced user-friendliness in place of existing domestic pressure regulator.

Safety provisions

The multi-functional regulator  has safety provisions for 100 per cent excess flow shutoff, child lock and leak detection mechanism.

It also has user-friendly features like flow restart plunger and low level indicator with analog or electronic display.
