Students throng Karavali college for campus recruitment

The drive had 104 companies from different sectors such as Engineering, IT, Computer, ITES, Insurance, Banking, Marketing, Auditing, Automobiles, Health Care and many others.

Reputed companies such as L&T Infotech, HDFC, Mphasis, ICCI, Future Generali, Robosoft, TATA Motars and several others have come as recruiters for the two-day drive.

Karavali Group of Colleges Chairman Ganesh Rao S said as many as 3,228 students are
placed on the very first day of the drive. “The placement mela on such a large scale has been organised first time by the College. The main objective is to provide job opportunities for the youth. Instead of blaming about employment, it is better to upgrade the system and create opportunities,” he said.

“Such job fairs are beneficial especially for the freshers as they will have an experience of facing the interview,” says Niyanta a paharmacy student.
