Protest held against Sanskrit University

Several colleges even today lack basic facilities and students have been suffering due to this. Shortage of lecturers, toilets, classrooms, library and other facilities have been creating major problems for the students. In such a situation, it is ridiculous of the government to establish a new University, they said.

They held a procession on the main streets of the City and staged a dharna in front of the office of the Assistant Commissioner and submitted a memorandum to Shesha Bhat.  SFI leaders G A Amaresh, Babu Reddy, Manohar, Ashok Anand and others led the protest.
Student JD(S) leaders Ramachandra Gowda, Manoj, Harish, Vasanth, Muneendra, Ravishankar, Ravi were present.
