Doctors examining Ramdev said Baba has lost 2 kilogram since June 7. He now weighs 58-kg. Ramdev had claimed that he has lost about 7 kg in six days due to fasting.
Earlier in the day Ramdev had refused to be administered glucose.

Ramdev is in another trouble, this time over land given to him by the Himachal Pradesh government. Former Punjab chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh has sought that the HP government revokes the lease of 28 acre land given to Ramdev.

Amarinder Singh on Thursday wrote to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal stating that the transfer of land to the yoga guru was illegal since his father, erstwhile Maharaja of Patiala, in 1956 had donated the land to the government for setting up a holiday home for children.

The property was handed over to Ramdev for a token lease amount of Re 1 per year for 99 years, Amarinder said. The value of the land is about Rs 40 crore now, he said.
The Himachal Pradesh government has argued that there was no anomaly in giving land on lease to the trust since the work to be carried out there was yoga and ayurveda.
