Festive mood on the set

News is that Mallika is looking her sultry best and is all set to te­mpt you just as a plate of fres­hly-made hot jalebis. Sou­r­ces from the sets confirm that the entire unit had a bla­st shooting for this particular song as director Indra Kumar would call for as much as 25 kilos of jalebis daily for the entire unit to feast on.

In fact, on the last day of shoot, all the unit members including choreographer Ganesh Acharya had a party of sorts with everyone, inclu­ding the diet-conscious Mallika Sherawat who fed director Indra Kumar hot jalebis and gorged on them herself!

Says director Indra Kumar, “The item song was shot at Mehboob Studios and the mo­od was so festive and celebratory, that we decided to have sweets everyday in honour of the song. We ordered around 25 kilos of sweets for the entire unit and since swe­ets are always associated with celebrations, the entire mood of the crew used to be very upbeat. We are sure the song will be a huge talking point! Mallika has outdone herself as Jalebi Bai.” So grab a box of jalebis from your nearest sweet shop and enjoy the ite­m number on your TV scr­eens soon.
