Kyathanamakki for nature lovers

During the rainy season, the grasslands sprawling over acres provides an enchanting view to the visitors.

The grassland is located in Basadi Road in Koppa taluk border.

As most of the traditional dwellers of this place have migrated to other places, a person from Bangalore has purchased this land and is planning to start home stays in the vicinity. There are several interesting factors attached to this place. There is only one house in Kyathanamakki area. One can find Bangalore’s race horses here.

Hokkalikoppa Nagendra Jain from Horanadu said “several cattle which come to the grassland have lost their lives. During the heavy wind and rainfall, the cattle fall from atop the hill and die.”

Galigudda is situated near the grassland, which is a suitable place for trekking. If one stands on Balige Kaduve of Galugudda, then one can get the enchanting view of Horanad and Kalakodu.
