Azam takes on Mulayam

A visibly upset Yadav blasted Khan, saying his actions were “anti-party” and that he (Khan) was “jealous” of Jayaprada, the party nominee from Rampur.

Addressing an election rally at Rampur, about 300 km from here, Yadav virtually issued an ultimatum to Khan to mend his ways or be ready to face disciplinary action.

“Khan has still some time left. He should start campaigning for the party nominee rather than opposing Jayaprada,” he said. Khan, however, was not present at the rally, indicating the widening rift between him and Yadav.

Amar Singh on Friday threatened to quit the party, saying he could no longer withstand humiliation by Khan.
