Among the demonstrators was Vijay Grover, from a leading English news channel, who had had close encounters with criminals when he worked on oil adulteration stories in Chennai in late 90’s. “A lorry drove through our media troupe, luckily no one died. Such incidents keep occurring in this field. And we continue working with the realisation that tomorrow it could be any one among us, meeting Dey’s fate,” said Grover.
The Bangalore Reporter’s Guild on Tuesday morning arranged a condolence meeting at the Press Club of Bangalore.
