Nithyananda falls from horse, injured

 Nithyananda’s aide Sachid told Deccan Herald that the godman went on a horse ride in the ashram.  “A few devotees were cheering him when they saw him riding the horse.

Due to the noise of their clapping and cheering, the horse panicked and jumped in excitement. Unable to balance himself on the horse, Nithyananda fell on the ground, landing on his right hand,” he said.

“Nithyananda suffered multiple comminuted fractures. He even had an open wound. We had to fix his fracture using plates and screws.  He will be kept under observation for two days,” Dr Raj Chakravarthy, orthopaedic surgeon at the hospital said.
