City students fare better

As many as 92,215 students have passed in Kannada medium while 1,24,917 have passed in English medium.

About 4.12 per cent students have obtained distinctions in II PUC examination while a whopping 41.80 percent, have scored first class.

About 26.85 percent have secured second class with 27.25 scoring pass class.

Visually impaired

Of the 235 visually impaired students, 113 have passed. Of the 1,492 physically disabled students, as many as 468 have cleared the exams.

City students have scored better than their rural counterparts.

About 52.05 percent of urban students have cleared the examination as against  47.97 percent of rural students.
