The party has demanded a clarification from the Prime Minister as to why the pricing exercise undertaken by the government took into consideration only the price offered by Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and ignored the price offered by the same RIL to NTPC which was much lower.
The party has also demanded an explanation as to why the government ignored the views of the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) and Power Ministry in this regard.
