HDK should not hinder development

Speaking to reporters here on Monday, he said Kumaraswamy was making baseless allegations against Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and putting a spoke in the process of development. He had arrived to attend a BJP party workers meeting here. Somanna said this is not the way a former chief minister should behave.

He should learn things because he became chief minister through lottery. He said Kumaraswamy should have turned up for a face- to-face discussion. Disgusted with the baseless allegation, Yeddyurappa has proposed the ‘duel of truth’ at Dharmasthala. There is nothing wrong in it. We hope it would put an end to the duel.

Replying to a question, he denied the allegations that Hassan district was being neglected by the state government was baseless.
