The Supreme Court’s denial to grant bail to DMK Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi, arrested in the 2G spectrum scam, has come as yet another blow to the party after its drubbing in the Assembly polls. DMK president M Karunanidhi “is shocked and totally upset”, sources close to the party said on Monday after the apex court turned down Kanimozhi’s bail plea.
